KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 (Bernama) -- Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) in an initiative to further strengthen its education standard.
The MoU was to establish collaboration in conducting programmes in Business Management Diploma and Diploma in Accountancy as well as in Professional Diploma in Corporate Administration (PDCA).
The MoU was signed by KPTM chairman Datuk Sohaimi Shahadan and MAICSA president Dr Cheah Foo Seong.
KPTM president Datuk Yusoff Harun, said after evaluating the programmes syllabi, MAICSA found that the programmes offered in KPTM mostly met the level of PDCA programme organised by the institution.
"The MoU will enable the graduates to have two diplomas after completing their studies," he told reporters before witnessing the MoU signing ceremony.
Yusoff said 200 students would be registered to pursue the courses which begin in July.
